Stevvi Alexander hails from Los Angeles originally but has toured the world extensively with artists including Diana Ross, Britney Spears, Sheryl Crow, Justin Timberlake, Cirque du Soleil,  Fleetwood Mac and is presently working with Ms. Barbra Streisand.   She has recorded with artists including Macy Gray, Colbie Caillat and Incubus and can be heard on commercials for Mercedes Benz,  VH-1, Lowe’s and Walmart with Craig Robinson.   Since 2009, she has hired all of the vocal sections on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” working closely with The Roots as their vocal contractor.  Through her company Choirgirl Music, she also regularly hires vocal sections/choirs for shows including “SNL”, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “The David Letterman Show” among others.  She was featured in the Oscar-winning film “20 Feet From Stardom” and holds a masters degree from NYU in Music Therapy choosing to pursue the degree based on her belief that music heals above all else.  Aside from her professional work as a singer/contractor/music therapist she is one half of the Silverlake-based synth folk band Public Art with her bandmate Jan Ozveren with whom she writes and plays guitar.   Lastly and most importantly,  she loves Taco Tuesdays and has two pet goldfish named Prince and Vanity.
